Job summary

SRG Hospitality seeks a Finance Manager — 2IC to the Group Financial Controller based in Sydney. You will run the group finance function day-to-day, lead a dedicated team, and take charge of month-end close across multiple entities when needed.

You will manage rolling cash-flow forecasts, intercompany consolidations, and offshore staff while collaborating with operations to influence venue performance. The role offers growth toward Group Financial Controller with AI-enabled finance processes.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualified with 5+ years in senior finance and ownership of a full month-end close.
• Fluent in multi-entity consolidation and intercompany accounting across separate legal entities.
• Experience leading offshore team members and integrating them into the finance function.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day group finance activities across multiple venues.

Finance Manager — 2IC to the Group Financial Controller

Our last Finance Manager is now our Group Financial Controller.

That’s the path this role is built on. We need the person who comes next — someone who can run group finance day to day, lead their own team, and run the whole function when the Group Financial Controller is away.

This isn’t a close-and-report job. Behind Aqua Dining, Sails Lavender Bay, The Nielsen, Ripples and Riva Rose Bay sits a multi-entity group with daily cash and card takings, weekly payroll and a stocktake every month. You’ll own the machinery that makes sense of it — and you’ll have the authority to change how it runs.

• The close — every entity, one retail calendar, and a mandate to take it to working day 5
• The cash — a rolling 13-week forecast across the group that the Group Financial Controller uses to make funding decisions

You’ll be

• CA or CPA qualified, with 5+ years in senior finance including ownership of a full month-end close

• From hospitality or another multi-site business with daily trade and weekly payroll
• The owner of a rolling cash-flow forecast in your current or most recent role
• Someone who has led offshore team members and made them part of the team
• Sydney-based and comfortable spending time in our venues

Bonus points for 2IC experience, F&B stocktake and cost-of-goods work, hospitality award interpretation, and hands-on use of AI in finance.
