Job summary

SRG Hospitality is a premium Sydney restaurant group seeking a senior finance leader to run group finance day to day and lead the team across venues. You’ll own the month-end close for multiple entities and manage a rolling cash-flow forecast that informs funding decisions.

The role requires Sydney-based presence and the ability to supervise offshore staff. You’ll drive AI-assisted finance workflows, deliver daily trade insights, and report to Operations Managers while having a seat at the table

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualified with 5+ years in senior finance and ownership of a full month-end close.
• Fluent in multi-entity consolidation and intercompany across separate legal entities.
• Experience in hospitality or multi-site businesses with daily trade and weekly payroll.
• Own rolling cash-flow forecast in current or most recent role.
• Led offshore team members and integrated them with the core team.
• Sydney-based and comfortable spending time in venues.

Responsibilities

• Close the books for every entity with a unified retail calendar.
• Own a rolling 13-week cash forecast used for funding decisions.
• Lead accountants, bookkeepers and payroll specialists across Sydney and the Philippines.
• Participate in monthly reviews with Operations Managers and influence actions.
• When Group Financial Controller is away, run finance as acting Director.

Description

Our last Finance Manager is now our Group Financial Controller.

That’s the path this role is built on. We need the person who comes next — someone who can run group finance day to day, lead their own team, and run the whole function when the Group Financial Controller is away.

This isn’t a close-and-report job. Behind Aqua Dining, Sails Lavender Bay, The Nielsen, Ripples and Riva Rose Bay sits a multi-entity group with daily cash and card takings, weekly payroll and a stocktake every month. You’ll own the machinery that makes sense of it — and you’ll have the authority to change how it runs.
