Job summary

ArborKnot, a fintech investing in debt portfolios, is expanding its finance function in Sydney. This build role designs and owns the processes the business will run on as it scales, reporting to the CFO and supervising one direct report.

You will own monthly reconciliations across multiple entities and currencies, support cash forecasting and funding decisions, and drive end-to-end month-end cycles, with a clear path to Financial Controller or Head of Finance as the group grows.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA/CFA qualified or close to completion.
• 3–5 years’ experience across practice and industry; analyst to senior analyst level.
• Own end-to-end deliverables and full month-end cycle experience.
• Advanced Excel and familiarity with accounting systems.
• Strong attention to detail with high volumes of data.

Responsibilities

• Monthly reconciliations across multiple entities, currencies and jurisdictions.
• Management reporting underpinning cash forecasting and funding decisions.
• Payment runs and banking across the group with controls.
• Invoice review and approval.
• Periodic fee and revenue calculations across portfolios.
