Bega Valley Shire Council invites applications for a Finance Cadet under the Emerging Talent Program. You will study finance at university while gaining hands‑on experience across Revenue, Procurement, Management Accounting, Accounts Payable and Payroll in a supportive local government setting.

Role includes travel and residential study blocks, structured mentorship and opportunities to build professional finance skills for a future career in local government.

• Interest in finance, accounting or related disciplines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Mansioni

• Assist in delivering financial and accounting services across multiple areas.
• Provide admin support to Revenue, Procurement, Management Accounting, Accounts Payable and Payroll.
• Assist with projects and initiatives as directed by Finance leadership.
