Job summary

Melbourne Property and Finance Group Pty Ltd is seeking a qualified Finance Broker to join the Camberwell team. The role involves meeting clients, assessing borrowing needs, researching lending products and managing loan applications from enquiry to settlement.

Requirements include a Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Broking Management, at least one year of relevant experience, and strong analytical and communication skills. Knowledge of CRM systems and loan platforms is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Broking Management or a relevant related qualification.
• At least 1 year of experience as a finance or mortgage broker, credit analyst or similar role.
• Sound knowledge of loan structuring, financial assessment and lender credit policies.
• Familiarity with loan application platforms and CRM systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to assess financial needs, objectives and borrowing capacity.
• Analyse clients' income, expenses, assets, liabilities and supporting documents.
• Research and compare available loan products, rates, fees and lender requirements.
• Recommend suitable financing options and explain loan structures, terms and costs.
• Prepare and submit loan applications with accurate supporting documents.
• Liaise and negotiate with lenders on behalf of clients.
• Coordinate with clients, lenders, solicitors, conveyancers and others to settlement.
• Maintain accurate client records and application updates in systems.
• Stay informed of lending products, policies and regulatory requirements.
• Comply with credit legislation and licensing requirements.
