The successful candidate will work directly with clients to understand their financing needs, research suitable lending products and manage loan applications from initial enquiry through to settlement. This role requires strong communication and analytical skills, a sound understanding of lending products and credit policies, and a commitment to providing professional client service.

Key responsibilities

• Meet with clients to assess their financial needs, objectives and borrowing capacity.
• Analyse clients' income, expenses, assets, liabilities and supporting financial documents.
• Research and compare available loan products, interest rates, fees and lender requirements.
• Recommend suitable financing options and clearly explain loan structures, terms, repayments and associated costs.
• Prepare and submit loan applications, ensuring supporting documents are accurate and complete.
• Liaise and negotiate with lenders on behalf of clients regarding financing arrangements and application requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, lenders, solicitors, conveyancers and other relevant parties to facilitate settlement.
• Maintain accurate client records and application updates in relevant business systems.
• Stay informed of lending products, lender credit policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Comply with relevant credit legislation, responsible lending and best interests obligations, and applicable licensee and aggregator requirements.

About you
