Job summary

Catholic Archdiocese of Perth is seeking an Assistant, Finance to support end-to-end accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial administration. You will contribute to timely payment runs, reconciliations, and accurate recording of financial transactions within a values-driven, collaborative team.

You will bring strong attention to detail, customer service orientation, and experience with Technologies One, MYOB or Xero. Knowledge of GST in not-for-profit environments is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Experiences in end-to-end finance processes (AP/AR).
• Familiarity with GST within not-for-profit sectors.
• Ability to deliver accurate financial information and maintain records.
• Strong customer service mindset and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end accounts payable and receivable transactions, including invoices, payments, adjustments and reconciliations.
• Generate and monitor invoices, reconcile customer accounts and follow up outstanding balances.
• Prepare vendor reconciliations, resolve discrepancies and maintain supplier records.
• Support payment processing (EFT/BPAY) in line with procedures and terms.
• Process journals and employee reimbursements and contribute to process improvements.
