Zusammenfassung

Australian Nursing Home Foundation (ANHF) is seeking an Assistant Accountant to support general accounting functions within our Finance Team. You will maintain ERP records, process high volumes of transactions, track invoices, and assist with payroll and year-end activities in a not-for-profit aged care environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in finance or related field, at least two years' experience, strong Excel skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Commerce/Accounting/Information Technology or a similar field.
• At least 2 years of relevant hands-on experience.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and analyse information.
• Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines independently.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and VLOOKUP.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong team player.
• Highly motivated and capable of keeping up in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be willing to participate in job rotation in the Finance Team.
• Unrestricted work rights in Australia.
• Able to pass Aged Care Worker Screening including a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check.
• Ability to communicate in Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin).
• Familiarity with CareSystems.
• Membership or working towards membership of an accounting professional body.
• Residential and/or community aged care experience.
• Experience in government acquittal processes.
• Experience in payroll processing.

Aufgaben

• Maintain ERP system and client/vendor records and filing systems.
• Process a high volume of transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
• Track invoices and follow up with queries.
• Ensure correct allocation of costs to GL and cost centre accounts.
• Timely completion of monthly bank reconciliations.
• Explore continuous improvement opportunities in accounting processes.
• Assist in the preparation of year-end audit schedules.
• Involvement in projects and ad hoc duties as required by the Finance Team Leader.
• Assist payroll processes and enquiries.
