Job summary

AWCON is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor for Civil Construction on a FIFO basis in Australia. You will report to the Project Manager, lead crews and subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality and timely delivery of works on underground mine sites.

Key requirements include proven supervision experience in civil/mining construction, ability to manage cost-plus and fixed-price contracts, and a hands-on leadership style. A current driver's licence and First Aid Certificate are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisor experience in civil or mining construction.
• Experience delivering construction projects on underground mine sites.
• Understanding of cost-plus and fixed-price contracts.
• Strong leadership and communication with a hands-on approach.
• Current driver’s licence and First Aid Certificate.
• Leadership/management qualifications desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate crews and subcontractors across daily site activities
• Champion a safety-first culture and ensure safe work practices on site
• Plan and coordinate works to meet programme and production targets
• Complete accurate daily reporting and site documentation
• Support quality assurance, compliance and workforce performance
• Work with the project team to identify and resolve issues on site
