Job summary

Cater Care Group is seeking a FIFO Chef to join our remote site team at Hera. You will be responsible for preparing high-volume, nutritious meals including breakfasts, dinners, and crib lunches for remote village residents.

Roster is 14 days on / 7 days off with 10–12 hour shifts. 100% flights coverage, site accommodation, meals, and uniforms are provided on shift. Must hold Australian Working Rights and pass checks.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified cook with HACCP knowledge.
• Proven experience in high-volume catering or remote-site operations.
• Ability to manage dietary restrictions and allergies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-volume breakfast, dinner, and crib options for site residents.
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety, HACCP regulations, and site hygiene standards.
• Manage coolroom rotations, stock levels, and active waste minimization.
• Cater to specialized diets and menu preferences.
• Collaborate with utilities and kitchen staff to maintain efficient workflow.
