nbn is hiring a Customer Field Technician in Townsville. You will work independently to install, repair and maintain customer equipment across multiple technologies, including copper or fibre cabling, while supporting customers in their homes or businesses.

Hours are 7am–7pm with training and full tools provided. A current driver’s licence and a commitment to safety and customer service are essential for success in this hands-on role.

Formación

• Prev. experience in telecommunications isn't required; training provided.
• Background in trades or hands-on roles welcomed.
• Experience in plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, labouring, construction, mechanical work or manufacturing is valued.
• A current, clean Driver's Licence is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Install, repair, and maintain customer equipment in homes or businesses.
• Install copper or fibre cabling and set up customer equipment.
• Identify faults, fix them, and keep customers informed and supported.
• Work independently across different nbn technologies.
