Job summary

Hilti Australia is seeking a Support Engineer to apply engineering expertise on-site, delivering anchor testing services and technical support to customers. You will work closely with Sales and Engineering teams to ensure project success and high standards of service.

The role involves conducting on-site testing, preparing detailed reports, coordinating site visits, maintaining equipment, and building strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Civil or Structural preferred).
• Experience in a customer-facing role within construction/engineering.
• Strong problem-solving and proactive mindset.
• Excellent communication and ability to explain technical concepts.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Salesforce is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site anchor testing following quality and safety standards.
• Plan and coordinate site visits with customers and stakeholders.
• Prepare and issue detailed technical reports and testing docs.
• Manage quotations, service requests, scheduling, and follow-ups.
• Maintain testing equipment with calibration and readiness.
• Build strong customer relationships and provide on-site support.
• Identify new business opportunities with Sales and Engineering teams.
• Maintain customer records and activity updates in Salesforce.
• Support internal engineering projects and marketing initiatives.
