Job summary

Blackbook Recruitment is seeking a Field Service Technician for a leading Food and Beverage Systems Supplier in Sydney. You will deliver on-site and remote support, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and overhauls to maximise equipment performance.

You will travel interstate as required, have strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, knowledge of industry standards, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

Experience working within food, liquid or beverage manufacturing
Strong mechanical troubleshooting capabilities
Knowledge of applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements
High level of customer focus, professionalism, and strong work ethic
Valid driver's license with willingness and ability to travel interstate

Responsibilities

Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance and respond promptly to emergency service requests to maintain optimal system performance.
Deliver high-quality, professional service while ensuring clear and effective communication with customers.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment both on-site and through remote support.
Provide technical assistance for mechanical and electrical systems.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Deliver basic operator training on equipment use and preventive maintenance best practices.
Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Spare Parts, and Projects) by providing technical expertise and service-related insights.
