Job summary

CP Personnel's client in the packaging machinery sector seeks a Field Service Technician to join their Sydney team. You will install and commission equipment on customer sites and perform planned maintenance.

The ideal candidate holds a mechanical, electrical or electronic trade, has field service experience in an industrial environment, can obtain a Restricted Electrical Licence (A-Grade is an advantage) and holds a manual licence. Salary is negotiable with a company vehicle.

• Strong communication and customer service abilities.

We are seeking a Field Service Technician to join their operations based in Sydney’s west. Reporting to the Service Manager, your duties will include:

• Installation and commissioning of new machinery on customer sites
• Planned service and maintenance activities
• Attending to breakdown situations as required
• Providing excellent customer service including end user training
• Completion of timely and accurate service reports

Our ideal candidate will possess:

• Trade/tertiary qualifications in a mechanical, electrical or electronic trade
• Previous Field Service experience in an industrial environment
• At a minimum, the ability to obtain a Restricted Electrical Licence. An A-Grade licence is a distinct advantage
• Strong communication and customer service abilities
• A manual driver licence
