Job summary

Marble Group in Sydney (Yennora) is seeking an experienced diesel mechanic to join our earthmoving division. This autonomous field role focuses on breakdowns and fault finding on a range of civil earthmoving machines across greater Sydney.

The role is permanent with a 7:30am–4:30pm schedule, regular overtime and weekend work when required. You’ll operate from a modern workshop with a fuel card, earning up to AU$53 per hour plus super and OT, with holidays, sick leave and day-one training.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years' experience attending to breakdowns in the field.
• Excellent fault finding and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to manage your day and work autonomously in the field.
• Excellent customer facing skills and ability to manage client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Handle breakdowns and fault finding across greater Sydney on civil earthmoving machines.
• Work 7:30am–4:30pm Monday to Friday with regular overtime, including weekends.
• Saturdays may be available with potential LAFH projects.
• Travel from home to sites using a modern work truck with a fuel card.

Your Duties

Working in an autonomous role you will be responsible for breakdowns and fault finding across greater Sydney working on a wide range of civil earthmoving machines.

• 7:30am - 4.30pm - Monday to Friday with regular overtime every day and over the weekends.
• Saturday work available + opportunity to work on LAFH jobs when they come up
