Marble Group is seeking a qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic for a Monday–Friday day workshop in St Marys, Sydney. You’ll manage maintenance for 48 Foton delivery trucks with full training provided; there is potential for a permanent role after the initial casual period.

The position offers an autonomous, finance-friendly environment with a modern workshop and opportunities for overtime. Cash outlay and onboarding support include training on trucks and OEM processes.

Qualifications

Requires Australian recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification.
Strong experience servicing and repairing light vehicles.
Ability to work autonomously and manage daily workload.
Truck experience not required — full training provided.

Responsibilities

Carry out scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance and warranty repairs on a fleet of 48 delivery trucks.
Diagnose and repair breakdowns in the workshop and in the field when needed.
Assist with maintenance on the company’s service vehicles.
Collaborate with auto electricians and apprentices while managing your own workload.
Plan upcoming maintenance and source required parts.

Monday to Friday roster (7:00am - 3:00pm)
Earn up to $63.25ph + super on an initial casual contract

The Role

You'll take ownership of the mechanical maintenance for a fleet of 48 Foton 4.5T delivery trucks operating for a major national customer.

Carry out scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance and warranty repairs
Diagnose and repair breakdowns both in the workshop and occasionally in the field
Assist with maintenance on the company's fleet of service vehicles
Work closely with auto electricians and apprentices while managing your own workload
Plan upcoming maintenance and organise required parts independently
