Job summary

Aptella offers a hands-on field service role installing and commissioning autonomy and remote-control systems across site environments. You will diagnose faults, calibrate equipment and update software in the field, while supporting network deployment and customer training.

Ideal candidates bring trade qualifications or equivalent experience, strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently with occasional national travel. Safety and documentation are key responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a technical, field service or similar environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Comfort reading technical schematics and installation drawings.
• Proficient with software and diagnostic systems.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and configure autonomy and remote-control systems.
• Diagnose faults across electrical, network, software and workflow environments.
• Perform preventative maintenance, calibration and software/firmware updates.
• Support site communications, positioning and network deployment.
• Deliver customer training, handover and technical support.
• Work with customers and internal teams to complete projects safely and to scope.
• Identify and escalate site readiness or delivery risks.
• Maintain accurate service records and technical documentation.
• Provide feedback on recurring issues and opportunities for product improvement.
• Travel nationally to customer and project sites as required.
