Job summary
Aptella is seeking a technically capable Field Service Technician – Autonomy Solutions to install, commission and support advanced autonomy and remote-control technology across customer sites in Australia. You will diagnose faults across electrical, network, and software environments and provide practical technical guidance to customers.
This field-based role involves training, site readiness assessment, and occasional travel nationally to project sites.
Qualifications
- Experience in a technical, field service environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read technical schematics and installation drawings.
- Current unrestricted Driver’s Licence.
- Construction White Card.
- Willingness to travel nationally.
- HR Licence, EWP and Working at Heights qualifications are advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Install, commission and configure autonomy and remote-control systems.
- Diagnose faults across electrical, network, software and workflow environments.
- Perform preventative maintenance, calibration and software/firmware updates.
- Support site communications, positioning and network deployment.
- Deliver customer training, handover and technical support.
- Travel nationally to customer and project sites as required.
