Job summary

Aptella is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, commission and support autonomy and remote-control systems in client sites across Australia. You’ll troubleshoot across electrical, network, software and workflow environments and deliver hands-on training to customers.

Qualifications

Experience in a technical field service or similar environment.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Confidence reading technical schematics and installation drawings.
Good computer literacy and ability to work with software/diagnostic systems.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to travel nationally and work remotely when required.
Construction White Card.

Responsibilities

Install, commission and configure autonomy and remote-control systems.
Diagnose faults across electrical, network, software and workflow environments.
Perform preventative maintenance, calibration and software/firmware updates.
Support site communications, positioning and network deployment.
Deliver customer training, handover and technical support.
Work with customers and internal teams to complete projects safely and to scope.
Identify and escalate site readiness, technical or delivery risks.
Maintain accurate service records and technical documentation.
Provide feedback on recurring issues and opportunities for product improvement.
Travel nationally to customer and project sites as required.
