Job summary

Aptella Pty Ltd is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, commission and support autonomy systems at customer sites across Australia. The role involves hands-on fault finding, configuration, training and ongoing service documentation.

You will work with sensing, positioning, communications, and software systems in challenging field environments. Ideal candidates have field service experience, strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• Field-based technical role requiring practical hands-on problem solving.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Willingness to travel nationally and work on remote sites.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and configure autonomy and remote-control systems.
• Diagnose faults across electrical, network, software and workflow environments.
• Perform preventative maintenance, calibration and software/firmware updates.
• Support site communications, positioning and network deployment.
• Deliver customer training, handover and technical support.
• Maintain accurate service records and technical documentation.
• Travel to customer and project sites as required.
