Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support Minerals and PGNAA analyser portfolios across Australia, New Zealand and the APJ region. Based in Adelaide, you will install, commission, maintain and troubleshoot sophisticated online analyser systems in mining and related industries.

You will work with Field Service, Product Support, Engineering, Applications and Sales teams, progressively taking ownership of customer sites while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical discipline.
• Minimum 2 years in field service, instrumentation, automation, process control or industrial maintenance.
• Willingness to travel 50–60% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, maintain, troubleshoot and repair Mineral and PGNAA analyser systems.
• Provide remote technical support to customers and other Field Service Engineers when required.
• Develop strong customer relationships and take ownership of assigned customer sites.
• Collaborate with Product Support, Engineering, Applications, Sales and other Field Service Engineers to resolve technical issues.
