Job summary

Metso is seeking a Field Service professional to perform hands-on service work on Metso Mineral Processing Equipment at customer sites across Australia. You will act as a technical liaison between customers, product divisions and sales, while evaluating equipment performance and supervising field projects.

You will prepare post-site reports, support warranty processes and RCA activities, and promote Metso products and services.

Qualifications

Australian recognised trade qualification is required.
Ability to read electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical schematics.
Must have a current motor vehicle license.
Able to travel on short notice and work extended hours.
Must pass random medical and drug tests.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Physically fit and safety-compliant.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on service work on Metso Mineral Processing Equipment at customer sites.
Act as technical liaison between customers, product divisions and sales.
Perform fault analysis and evaluate equipment and component failures.
Supervise and oversee customer-site projects.
Complete field inspections per procedures.
Escalate issues to Technical Support and Engineering.
Prepare site visit reports, timesheets and expenses.
Support warranty processes and RCA where applicable.
Promote Metso products and services to customers.
