Job summary

Metso is seeking a Field Service professional to perform hands-on service on Metso Mineral Processing Equipment in the field at various customer sites. You will coordinate with customers, product divisions and sales to deliver technical services in conjunction with the sales team.

You will analyze equipment faults, supervise field projects, complete inspections, and input data into CRM. The role requires an Australian recognised trade qualification, a current motor vehicle license, the ability

Qualifications

• Australian recognised trade qualification required.
• Current motor vehicle license is mandatory.
• Ability to travel and stay away from home as required.
• Strong fault-finding aptitude and technical curiosity.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to read electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on service work on Metso Mineral Processing Equipment in the field at various customer sites.
• Provide technical liaison services between customers, product divisions and sales personnel.
• Perform technical evaluations and analyse equipment and machine component failures.
• Supervise and oversee projects on customer sites.
• Complete field machine inspections per global and customer procedures.
• Escalate questions and analysis to Technical Support and Engineering.
• Prepare post site visit reports, time sheets and expenses after site visits.
• Support warranty process and RCA where applicable.
• Promote products and services to customers
• Identify equipment not in our installed base and input data into CRM
