Job summary

Sandvik Mining in Perth, WA is seeking an Operations Field Support Representative to service drilling consumables across underground mine sites in Western Australia. You'll receive comprehensive training and join the Sandvik Rock Tools Contract team to ensure safe, efficient operations.

You will handle inventory, deliver consumables, collect data, and report on usage and performance while meeting site procedures and EHS requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid manual C Class Driver's Licence.
• Forklift Licence (desirable but not essential).
• FIFO roster (8 days on / 6 days off - 12-hour day shifts).
• Able to pass police, drug, and alcohol checks.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor inventory levels at site.
• Plan and deliver daily consumables to underground drills.
• Receive and store goods delivered to site.
• Collect and report accurate data on consumable usage, performance, condition, and failures through Sandvik Track and Report.
• Engage positively with mining operators.
• Meet EHS requirements; including risk assessments, safety meetings, daily safety checks, and monthly inspections.
