Job summary

Epiroc Australia, based at Perth Airport (WA), seeks a Contracts Operative to support consumables inventory at the Telfer mine site. The role focuses on stock checks, replenishment, and reporting while adhering to safety and site procedures in an underground environment.

Ideal candidates bring experience in similar roles, a manual driver’s license, and the ability to travel with short notice, with a commitment to safety and compliance in mining operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in stock management at a mining or industrial site.
• Ability to operate in an underground environment.
• Familiarity with drill consumables and stock replenishment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily stocktakes of drilling consumables in underground environment.
• Daily replenishment of drill rig stock levels as preset.
• Manage & control inventory levels.
• Attend daily pre-shift meetings with client.
• Liaise with client to understand upcoming drilling operations requirements.
• Record and report all consumable faults or premature failures.
