Job summary

Service Stream is seeking an ITS and Tolling Systems Technician to support tolling infrastructure and roadside technology. You will diagnose faults, perform preventative maintenance and respond to incidents across ITS devices and networks.

Based in Eastern Creek, NSW, the role involves Level 1 support, on-site and remote diagnostics, and collaboration with control rooms and vendors to keep motorway systems reliable and safe.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT, OT or technical support environments.
• Experience diagnosing faults across hardware, software and communications systems.
• Understanding of IP networking fundamentals (Ethernet, switches, connectivity).
• Experience using diagnostic applications and monitoring tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 support for tolling systems and roadside equipment.
• Monitor alarms and perform remote diagnostics and on-site fault investigations.
• Support ITS assets including VMS, CCTV, METS and IVLD.
• Record defect information and maintenance activities in the Asset Management System.
• Coordinate with Traffic Control Rooms, vendors and support teams during incidents.
