Job summary

Global Engineering & Construction is seeking an experienced Projects Superintendent to own mechanical project execution from mobilisation through to completion across field operations in Queensland. You will work closely with Projects Engineers, Coordinators and site leadership, balancing client requirements with safety and quality standards.

The role demands a hands-on leader who spends substantial time on site, driving performance, coordination and effective stakeholder engagement with Tier 1

Qualifications

Mechanical fitting or maintenance background essential.
Experience leading multidisciplinary project or maintenance teams.
Superintendent-level or senior supervisor experience with ascent capability.
Strong understanding of project costs, budgets and labour planning.
Experience delivering mechanical projects in oil & gas, resources, mining or heavy industry.
Solid knowledge of HSE, QA, ITPs and project documentation.

Responsibilities

Take operational ownership from mobilisation to completion of mechanical projects.
Lead, mentor and develop Supervisors, Leads and field teams.
Manage project budgets, costs, labour planning, schedules and resources.
Ensure work complies with job packs, ITPs, specifications and client requirements.
Maintain strong client relationships and drive continuous improvement.
