BDS Mechanical Repairs Aus Pty Ltd is seeking a driven Business Development professional to grow opportunities across the automotive, heavy transport and mining sectors in Bowen Basin and Central Queensland, with regular regional travel.

You will build strong customer relationships, identify new markets, and support workshops and field technicians in a full-time role offering autonomy and a chance to contribute to long-term growth across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of mining, truck, trailer and automotive products and services.
• Very good communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and sales skills.
• Excellent telephone manner.
• Willingness to travel for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities for workshops, parts sales and field service technicians (road transport and mining).
• Interpret customer requirements via phone or in person.
• Provide effective customer service and product advice.
• Create and maintain strong customer relations.
• Influence and execute the company's long-term growth strategy.
