Job summary

Wesfarmers’ Blackwoods division is seeking a Sales Representative to manage and grow an established portfolio of trade and industrial customers in the Adelaide area. You will spend time in the field visiting customers from tradespeople to site-based decision-makers, supported by a company vehicle for visits.

You will drive proactive sales activities, develop growth plans, and work closely with the Mile End branch to deliver exceptional service and achieve targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B sales across trade/industrial sectors or account management.
• Confident engaging with stakeholders from tradespeople to office decision-makers.
• Proactive and resilient in prospecting and business development.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an existing portfolio of trade/industrial customers.
• Build strong relationships with tradies, site supervisors and key contacts.
• Conduct proactive customer visits and maintain regular account contact.
• Identify new sales opportunities through prospecting and cold calling.
• Develop and implement customer growth plans.
• Track opportunities, activities and customer interactions.
• Provide product and solution recommendations to customers.
• Achieve monthly sales targets and KPIs.
• Collaborate with branch teams to deliver outstanding customer service.
