Job summary

IPD Group is a dynamic, Australian-owned electrical engineering provider based in Campbelltown, NSW. We seek an electrician to oversee installation, maintenance and repair of high and low voltage systems across sites.

You will travel to client sites, read schematics, ensure safety standards and drive quality outcomes, with a proactive, autonomous approach. The role requires relevant electrical qualifications, NSW licensing, and the ability to work independently within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification and NSW licensing required.
• Current NSW Qualified Supervisor or NSW Electrical Contractor licence or equivalent.
• Experience with ABB VSDs, PF correction, EV chargers advantageous.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Strong teamwork with autonomous work ability.
• Good computer literacy.
• Energetic, driven, and self-motivated with a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, maintenance and repair of electrical installations.
• Conduct testing and maintenance of plant, tools and equipment.
• Read schematics and control drawings; interpret panel schedules.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company protocols.
• Travel to sites to perform maintenance, installation and testing.
• Document maintenance, repairs and system upgrades.
