Job summary

Glen Dimplex AU is seeking a Field Appliance Technician to service, diagnose and repair home appliances across customers' homes and commercial environments in Western Australia. This field-based role includes a fully maintained company vehicle, tools, training and ongoing support to help you succeed.

You will attend service calls, diagnose faults, perform repairs and complete accurate service reports, while delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining OH&S standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in appliance servicing or related technical field.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Current unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Ability to work independently while managing a mobile service schedule.

Responsibilities

• Attend customer service calls across the Perth metropolitan region and surrounding areas.
• Diagnose and repair domestic appliances, both in and out of warranty.
• Deliver exceptional customer service in line with company standards.
• Accurately complete service reports and job documentation.
• Manage van stock and spare parts inventory.
• Process payments for non-warranty repairs when required.
• Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all OH&S requirements.
• Build positive relationships with customers and service partners.
• Participate in ongoing technical training and development.
