Job summary

Claro is seeking a Disability Support Worker in Mount Barker, SA, to join our internal team in a casual capacity. You will support clients with complex care needs including mobility, daily tasks and medical considerations while fostering independence and meaningful community participation.

We have an exciting opportunity for an internal Claro team member to join a supportive and inclusive team. We are seeking a Community Disability Support Worker located in Mount Barker, SA

Each day may look a little different, but your work will be centered around the following:

• Person-centered planning: Chat with the client (and family/advocates), get to know them and understand goals and routines.
• Complex physical care: Help with mobility, transfers, positioning, daily tasks, and devices (wheelchairs, aids, etc.) as outlined in the plan
• Medical support: Watch for changes, follow med/clinical plans, and liaise with the care team if things shift.
• Social time and participation: Bring meaning, fun, and community access aligned with interests.
• Autonomy and advocacy: Support decision-making, respect consent, boost independence where possible.
• Cultural humility: Respect backgrounds, beliefs, and ways of being
