Job summary

Community Connection is seeking Female Lifestyle Assistants to join a high behaviour support team supporting a young female client in Townsville. The role focuses on daily living assistance, personal care, community access, and adherence to PBSP within a 24/7 rostered environment.

Applicants should have experience with complex behaviours, strong English communication, current First Aid/CPR, NDIS screening (or ability to obtain), and a valid Australian driver's licence.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals with complex and high-risk behaviours.
• Understanding of Positive Behaviour Support practices.
• Ability to remain calm and resilient in challenging situations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Current First Aid and CPR, or willingness to obtain.
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or ability to obtain).
• Current Australian Driver's Licence and access to a reliably insured vehicle.
• Australian working rights and availability for a 24/7 rotating roster.

Responsibilities

• Provide support with daily living activities and personal care.
• Support with community access, appointments, and transportation.
• Implement and monitor Positive Behaviour Support plans (PBSP).
• Maintain safety, professionalism, and calmness during high-intensity situations.
