Job summary

SunPork Group is seeking a reliable Feed Mill Operator to join our Tong Park, QLD site. You will operate and monitor stockfeed production equipment, ensuring production targets, safety and quality standards are met.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in feed milling or similar settings, basic machine operation skills, and a strong commitment to safety, quality and hygiene while working well within a team.

Qualifications

• Experience in feed milling or similar hands-on environment.
• Basic machine operation experience.
• Strong focus on safety, quality and hygiene.
• Ability to follow documented procedures.
• Team player with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain equipment associated with stockfeed production and raw material storage.
• Monitor plant equipment and systems to minimise downtime.
• Identify issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Report plant operating parameters that are not meeting targets.
• Undertake basic troubleshooting and mechanical repairs within your skill level.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the feed mill.
• Follow FeedSafe requirements for handling and storage of materials and finished feed.
• Follow SOPs, work instructions and complete required records.
• Ensure feed orders are manufactured accurately and within production schedules.
• Follow all workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
