Job summary

SunPork Group is seeking an experienced Feedmill Manager to lead the Wasleys feedmill's day-to-day operations. You will head a small team, ensure on-time production and supply of finished feed, and uphold safety, quality, and inventory controls across facilities.

You will drive efficiency, reduce downtime and champion a culture of continuous improvement while collaborating with nutrition, quality and farm teams across SunPork's South Australian operations.

Qualifications

• 12 months' experience in feedmill operations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to resolve issues.
• Experience with production processes, equipment and procedures.
• Ability to lead and support a small operational team.
• Clear, collaborative communication and a safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all feedmill manufacturing operations to ensure on-time production and supply.
• Monitor performance, identify improvements and implement corrective actions.
• Manage raw material inventory and stock control to avoid stockouts.
• Ensure materials are inspected, handled and stored per procedures.
• Develop SOPs, work instructions and production records.
• Oversee preventive maintenance to maximise equipment reliability.
• Support budgeting and cost control aligned to targets.
• Identify capital-improvement opportunities to boost efficiency and safety.
• Foster a strong safety culture and follow WHS policies.
• Provide coaching, training and succession planning for the team.
• Collaborate with feed supply chain, logistics, nutrition, quality and farm teams.
