Responsibilities

• Undertake basic troubleshooting and mechanical repairs within your skill level.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the feed mill.
• Follow FeedSafe requirements for handling and storage of materials and finished feed.
• Follow SOPs, work instructions and complete required records.
• Ensure feed orders are manufactured accurately and within production schedules.
• Follow all workplace health and safety policies and procedures.

About the Opportunity

We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated Feed Mill Operator to join our team at Tong Park, QLD.

Reporting to the Feed Mill Manager, you will be responsible for safely monitoring and operating plant and equipment associated with stockfeed manufacturing while ensuring critical production, safety and quality targets are achieved.

This is a hands-on role and would suit someone who enjoys working with machinery, problem-solving and being part of a busy, supportive team.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Feed Mill Operator, your responsibilities will include:

• Operating and maintaining equipment associated with stockfeed production and raw material storage.

About You

We are looking for someone who is reliable, safety-focused and willing to learn.

Ideally, you will have:

• Previous experience in feed milling, manufacturing, agriculture, production or a similar hands-on environment - highly regarded.
• Basic machine operation experience.
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to follow documented procedures and processes.
• Strong attention to safety, quality and hygiene.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Reliable transport to and from Tong Park.

The position requires someone who can confidently follow documented processes, work within a team and undertake basic machine operation.
