Job summary

SunPork Group in Australia is seeking a motivated Weaner Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of the weaner unit at Tong Park, reporting to the Weaner Unit Manager. This full-time role (38 hours per week) starts 6 October 2026 and focuses on animal welfare, production targets and team leadership.

You will supervise staff, monitor animal health, ensure biosecurity and safety, maintain production records, and collaborate with the site team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in animal-related disciplines (Animal Production, Animal Science, Agriculture or related).
  • Experience in intensive livestock production; piggery experience highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Current Australian driver's licence and ability to operate a company vehicle during alarm duties.

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Weaner Supervisor to join our team at Tong Park. Reporting directly to the Weaner Unit Manager, this is a full-time opportunity for someone who is passionate about livestock production, team leadership, and maintaining the highest standards of animal care.

About the Role

As the Weaner Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the weaner unit, ensuring excellent animal welfare outcomes, maintaining production targets, and supporting and leading team members to achieve operational excellence.

This is a full-time position (38 hours per week) with a commencement date of 6th Oct 2026.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the day-to-day operations of the weaner unit.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A Bachelor Degree in Animal Production, Animal Science, Agriculture or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience working within intensive livestock production (piggery experience highly regarded).
  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to animal welfare and workplace safety.
  • A current Australian driver's licence.
  • The ability to operate a company vehicle while rostered on alarm duties.
