Job summary

Ruah is seeking a permanent full-time Team Lead - Family and Domestic Violence to oversee a portfolio of FDV services across Perth, Cannington, Armadale and Belmont. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, manage risk assessment, safety planning and coordinated responses with police and child protection partners.

You will travel regularly between sites, support staff development, ensure service quality and compliance, and promote culturally safe, trauma-informed practice.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience including supervision, coaching and workforce development.
• Experience in family and domestic violence, crisis response or related community services.
• Sound knowledge of FDV risk assessment, safety planning and referral pathways.
• Ability to work across multi-agency environments and manage high-risk cases.
• Commitment to culturally safe, trauma-informed and person-centred practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and support teams delivering specialist FDV services across multiple locations.
• Provide operational oversight, workforce coordination and practice leadership.
• Ensure timely, high-quality responses to referrals from high-risk incidents.
• Oversee risk assessment, safety planning and coordinated support for victims and families.
• Support intensive case management, outreach and court advocacy services.
• Build partnerships with WA Police, Department of Communities and local government.
