Family Support & Inclusion Officer - Lollipop Hill

Play a vital role in supporting children and families at our brand-new Lollipop Hill service, fostering inclusion, connection, and positive outcomes for every child.

About Aspire Early Education
At Aspire Early Education and Kindergarten, our vision is to shape a positive future for children through our Grow, Learn & Connect curriculum.

Located in Melbourne's growing western corridor, Lollipop Hill has quickly become a valued part of the local community. Since opening earlier this year, our team has focused on creating a welcoming, inclusive environment where children, families, and educators feel supported, connected, and empowered every day.

The Opportunity Section
We are seeking a passionate and empathetic Family Support & Inclusion Officer to join our team at Lollipop Hill.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly established service and play a key role in strengthening family relationships, supporting inclusion practices, and collaborating with educators to ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive.

This is a part-time position working 25 hours per week. While you will spend the majority of your time within the learning environments supporting children, educators, and families, the role is out of ratio, allowing you to focus on inclusion support, behaviour guidance, family engagement, funding applications, and community connections without being counted in educator-to-child ratios.

You’ll help build on the strong foundations already established while contributing to the continued growth of the service.

In this role, you will:
  • Support families throughout the enrolment and orientation process, ensuring they feel welcomed and informed.
  • Help children settle into the service and work closely with educators to support smooth transitions.
  • Build strong and trusting relationships with children, families and educators.
  • Lead important conversations with families regarding behavioural, wellbeing and inclusion needs.
  • Provide guidance to families with empathy, professionalism and a solutions-focused approach.
  • Assist families in accessing community services, supports and government funding programs, including the Inclusion Support Subsidy (ISS).
  • Work as a key connection between educators, leadership teams and families to ensure children's wellbeing and inclusion needs are met.
  • Support educators with behaviour guidance strategies and inclusive practices.
  • Assist with inclusion funding applications and documentation where required.
  • Contribute to family engagement initiatives, events and community partnerships.
  • Support ongoing communication between the service and families to strengthen relationships and outcomes for children.
