Job summary

Aspire Early Education invites a Diploma Qualified Room Leader to join Lollipop Hill Early Learning Centre in Melbourne. You will lead the Nursery Room, mentor educators, build relationships with families and deliver high-quality programs that support young children's learning, development and wellbeing.

This part-time role offers a supportive, collaborative centre leadership team, a flexible nursery environment and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent).
• Experience as Room Leader or Senior Educator.
• Strong knowledge of EYLF and NQF.
• Experience with infants and toddlers.
• Current Working with Children Check and relevant certifications.
• Ability to lead, communicate and mentor staff.

Aspire Early Education & Kindergarten is seeking a passionate and experienced Diploma Qualified Room Leader to join our team at Lollipop Hill Early Learning Centre.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead our Nursery Room, creating a nurturing and engaging environment where our youngest children can thrive. You'll play an important role in mentoring educators, building strong relationships with families, and delivering high-quality educational programs that support children's learning, development and wellbeing.

About You

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)


• Previous experience as a Room Leader or Senior Educator


• Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF)


• Experience working with infants and young children


• Excellent leadership, communication and mentoring skills


• Current Working with Children Check


• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)


• Positive, professional and collaborative approach


• Ability to work within a flexible routine in a Nursery Room environment


• Availability to work on a rotating roster between 6:30am and 6:30pm, Monday to Friday
