Job summary

Aspire Early Education & Kindergarten in Clyde North, VIC is seeking a part-time Family Support and Inclusion Officer to help families settle children and navigate government funding. You will collaborate with Centre Leadership Teams to promote wellbeing and inclusive practice.

The role requires a Diploma in early childhood education and care, current First Aid/CPR/Anaphylaxis/Asthma certificates, and Working with Children Check, plus GECKO and Mandatory Reporting training.

Qualifications

• Diploma in early childhood education and care is required.
• Current first aid, CPR/anaphylaxis and asthma certificates required.
• Working with Children Check is required.
• Mandatory Reporting and GECKO Training completed.
• Experience with inclusion in early years is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of community resources and government funding processes.
• Familiarity with NQF and relevant laws.

Responsibilities

• Support families through the orientation process and help with settling children into learning environments.
• Provide guidance for families managing behavioural concerns.
• Initiate difficult conversations with families and connect them with community resources.
• Guide families through government funding processes.
• Collaborate with Centre Leadership Teams, Room Leaders and families to promote children’s wellbeing and development.
