Job summary

Wagners is seeking a Factory Hand at our Toowoomba site to assist in the production of reinforcing steel used in concrete footings, slabs and structures. The role offers fulltime or casual status with an hourly rate plus overtime and penalties.

You will cut, bend, weld, bundle and load steel onto trucks, with on‑the‑job training and opportunities to upskill. Applicants must pass pre‑employment checks including drug/alcohol, medical, police check and references.

Factory Hand

We are seeking new production operators at our Toowoomba site to assist in the production of reinforcing steel for use in concrete footings, slabs and structures.

About the Role

• $30.15 to 34.46 per hour (depending on exp) hourly rate plus overtime plus penalties
• Fulltime or Casual (with additional Casual loading 25%)
• Work Monday to Friday with early starts
• Cutting, bending, welding, bundling and loading steel onto trucks
• Customer service, Stores and Warehousing tasks

• All on the job training provided, opportunities to upskill across the factory
• Experience with hand tools or welding desirable
• Ability to work in a physically demanding role
• Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices
• Must be able to pass all satisfactory pre-employment checks
