Job summary

Mildura Rural City Council is seeking a Facility Projects Team Leader to drive the facility capital works program from concept to completion. You will coordinate internal teams, consultants and stakeholders to deliver high-quality facilities that support the community now and in the future.

The role requires a relevant degree or diploma and extensive project management experience, with strong leadership, planning and risk-management skills.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma qualifications in Architecture, Engineering, Surveying or Project Management and relevant experience or a lesser qualification and extensive relevant work experience.
• Demonstrated experience engaging with internal and external customers and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated planning, prioritising and organising work with risk management to deliver on time and within budget.
• Experience writing and evaluating project tender specifications with knowledge of data management and software including Access, Excel, Word and project management systems.
• Experience leading and developing diverse technical teams to deliver outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects that shape the community and drive the facility capital works program from concept to completion.
• Coordinate internal teams, consultants, contractors and stakeholders to turn priorities into high-quality facilities.
• Shape long-term asset strategies and investment priorities for Council facilities.
