Job summary

Mildura Rural City Council is seeking an experienced Project Delivery Officer to join the Project Delivery Team in delivering community construction projects. You will work with our engineering team to coordinate contractors, inspect works and support projects from planning to completion to ensure quality outcomes.

Applicants should have a Civil Engineering degree or PM diploma with delivery experience, plus knowledge of estimates and contract management, and proficiency in MS Office and CAD.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or Project Management with delivery experience.
• Experience supervising construction work and keeping records.
• Knowledge of construction estimates and contract management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CAD software.
• Hold a current Police Check or able to obtain prior to employment.
• Hold a current Australian Drivers Licence.

About the Opportunity

Take a hands-on role in delivering construction projects that benefit our community. Working with our engineering team, you’ll coordinate contractors, inspect works and support projects from planning to completion to ensure quality outcomes

What you will bring

• A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering (including Graduate Civil Engineers) or Project Management with minimal experience or lesser formal qualifications with extensive experience in delivery of construction projects.
• Experience in construction work supervision and record keeping.
• Knowledge of construction estimates and Contract Management
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and CAD software
• Hold a current satisfactory Police Check or willing to obtain one prior to employment.
• A current Australian Drivers Licence

Salary and conditions

The position is classified within Band 5 of Council’s Current Enterprise Agreement commencing at $80,057.64 per annum plus statutory superannuation.
