Job summary

Funlab Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking a Facilities Technician to join Strike Bowling and Archie Brothers at Entertainment Quarter. You will maintain all venue equipment, coordinate with the Venue Manager and facilities team, and execute the Preventative Maintenance Schedule across attractions.

You will also manage parts databases, uphold safety standards, arrange external trades, and handle general upkeep such as painting and basic plumbing. Comprehensive on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• Natural technical/mechanical aptitude.
• Proven technical or mechanical experience.
• Ability to systematically work through complex problems.
• Willingness to learn and problem solve.
• Mature, collaborative and positive approach to work.
• Ability to work autonomously but also communicate effectively with the team.
• Strong computer skills and experience with Funlab systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of all equipment in the venue.
• Coordinate with Venue Manager and Facilities support to follow up on maintenance tasks.
• Complete Preventative Maintenance Schedule for all attractions and devices.
• Maintain databases and spare parts.
• Maintain workplace safety standards.
• Work with Area Facilities Manager to arrange external trades.
• General venue upkeep: painting, patching, basic plumbing, repairs.

What You'll Do:

• Maintenance of all pieces of equipment in the venue
• Staying in close contact with your Venue Manager and Facilities support team by responding to emails, calendar invites and logs to follow up on all maintenance tasks
• Completion of the Preventative Maintenance Schedule for all bowling/amusement activities and venue attractions/devices
• Maintaining databases and spare partsli>
• Maintain workplace standard in regards to site safety
• Working with your Area Facilities Manager to sign off and book external trades needed in venue
• General facility upkeep; painting, patching, basic plumbing, repairs you name it!

Comprehensive training will be provided to the successful candidate, with ongoing support from the national technical team.
