Job summary

Funlab, Australia's premier creator of competitive socialising experiences, is seeking a Facilities Technician to join Strike Bowling in Bowen Hills. You’ll maintain equipment, respond to maintenance tasks, and help keep venues safe, clean and enjoyable for guests.

Comprehensive training is provided, with ongoing support from the national technical team, a collaborative, people‑focused culture, and opportunities to grow your technical skills across our network of venues.

Qualifications

• Natural technical/mechanical aptitude.
• Proven technical or mechanical experience.
• Ability to systematically work through complex problems.
• A willingness to learn and problem solve.
• A mature, collaborative and positive approach to your work.
• An ability to work autonomously but also communicate effectively to the team.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to work with Funlab systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of all pieces of equipment in the venue.
• Staying in close contact with your Venue Manager and Facilities support team by responding to emails, calendar invites and logs to follow up on all maintenance tasks.
• Completion of the Preventative Maintenance Schedule for all bowling/amusement activities and venue attractions/devices.
• Maintaining databases and spare parts.
• Maintain workplace standard in regards to site safety.
• Working with your Area Facilities Manager to sign off and book external trades needed in venue.
• General facility upkeep; painting, patching, basic plumbing, repairs you name it!
