Job summary

Funlab Pty Ltd, in Bowen Hills (Strike Bowling venue), is seeking a Facilities Technician to maintain equipment and facilities across the venue. You will work closely with the Venue Manager and national facilities team to ensure smooth operations and top customer experiences.

The role involves preventative maintenance scheduling, databases/spares management, and hands-on repairs across painting, plumbing, and general upkeep. A strong technical mindset and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Natural technical/mechanical aptitude.
• Proven technical or mechanical experience.
• Ability to systematically work through complex problems.
• A willingness to learn and problem solve.
• A mature, collaborative and positive approach to your work.
• An ability to work autonomously but also communicate effectively to the team.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to work with Funlab systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of all pieces of equipment in the venue.
• Staying in close contact with Venue Manager and Facilities support team by responding to emails, calendar invites and logs to follow up on maintenance tasks.
• Completion of the Preventative Maintenance Schedule for all bowling/amusement activities and venue attractions/devices.
• Maintaining databases and spare parts.
• Maintain workplace standard in regards to site safety.
• Work with Area Facilities Manager to sign off and book external trades needed in venue.
• General facility upkeep; painting, patching, basic plumbing, repairs.

What You'll Do:

Comprehensive training will be provided to the successful candidate, with ongoing support from the national technical team.
