Job summary

Funlab is seeking a Facilities Technician to join the Strike Bowling team in Bowen Hills. You’ll maintain all venue equipment, coordinate with the Venue Manager and Facilities team, and complete preventative maintenance across bowling and amusements while ensuring safety and site standards.

Qualifications

• Natural technical/mechanical aptitude.
• Proven technical or mechanical experience.
• Ability to systematically work through complex problems.
• Willingness to learn and problem solve.
• Mature, collaborative and positive approach to work.
• Ability to work autonomously but also communicate effectively to the team.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to work with Funlab systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of all pieces of equipment in the venue.
• Staying in close contact with Venue Manager and Facilities support team by responding to emails, calendar invites and logs to follow up on all maintenance tasks.
• Completion of the Preventative Maintenance Schedule for all bowling/amusement activities and venue attractions/devices.
• Maintaining databases and spare parts.
• Maintain workplace standard in regards to site safety.
• Working with Area Facilities Manager to sign off and book external trades needed in venue.
• General facility upkeep; painting, patching, basic plumbing, repairs you name it!

What You'll Do:
