BaptistCare is seeking an experienced Facilities Systems & Supplier Manager to lead systems, supplier governance and asset information for our national portfolio. We are looking for an experienced Facilities Systems & Supplier Manager to lead the systems, supplier governance and asset information that underpin our national property portfolio. This is an opportunity to bring together strong commercial thinking, facilities expertise and people leadership to help create safe, efficient and future focused environments across BaptistCare.

As part of our Property & Development team, you will help strengthen how we manage facilities nationally, building consistency across systems, suppliers, contracts, asset data and performance while ensuring our approach supports BaptistCare’s mission and the communities we serve.

About the role

Reporting to the General Manager Facilities Management, you will lead a small national team and work closely with our operational Facility team leads, Property & Development, Procurement, Finance, IT, Risk, WHS and operational stakeholders.

You will take ownership of our facilities management systems, Contractor Compliance Systems and asset information, strengthening governance, data quality and reporting to support better asset planning, lifecycle management and investment decisions.

A significant part of your role will also focus on our national supplier landscape. Working in partnership with Procurement and key stakeholders, you will establish supplier performance frameworks, strengthen contract governance, identify sourcing and rationalisation opportunities, and help ensure we achieve the right balance of service quality, compliance, value and risk management.

You will also use asset and operational data to identify & support opportunities to improve service delivery, optimise expenditure, reduce risk and support sustainability and ESG outcomes across our portfolio.

About You

You will be an experienced facilities, asset or supplier management professional who is comfortable operating across a large, geographically dispersed and complex portfolio. Just as importantly, you will be a collaborative leader who builds trusted relationships and brings people with you through change.

You will bring:

• Significant experience across facilities management, asset management, procurement and/or supplier management in a complex multi-site environment.
• Hands on experience managing computerised facilities management systems, Contractor Compliance Systems and asset information platforms.
• Strong experience in procurement, tendering, contract governance and supplier performance, ideally across services such as statutory maintenance, HVAC, security and waste.
• Strong commercial and analytical capability, with the ability to turn operational and asset data into practical decisions and improvements.
• Experience leading geographically dispersed teams and building capability and accountability.
• Sound knowledge of compliance, risk and WHS requirements within property and facilities environments.
• A relevant qualification in Property, Facilities Management, Building, Asset Management, Engineering, Construction or a related discipline.
• Ability to travel regionally and interstate.
• Experience within aged care, healthcare, community services or another regulated environment will be highly regarded, as will experience leading national systems improvement, procurement optimisation, sustainability, ESG or energy management initiatives.
