Job summary

BGIS, National Financial Institution is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee site operations at a highly secure facility in Craigieburn, VIC. You will coordinate on-site and subcontractor maintenance, manage budgets, and ensure service delivery meets contractual KPIs.

The role requires strong technical knowledge of building services, stakeholder engagement, and experience in QA/WHS. You’ll work within established processes in a secure environment and contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management or integrated property services.
• Sound technical understanding of building services and maintenance.
• Excellent client relationship and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Knowledge of legislative and statutory requirements for maintenance activities.
• Sound financial and commercial understanding.
• Experience working within QA, WHS and environmental systems.
• Comfortable working within well-documented processes and procedures.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and CMMS platforms.
• Experience in high-security or similarly controlled environments.
• Environmental, ESD or energy management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of the Services Agreement and ensure KPIs are met.
• Coordinate maintenance by on-site team and subcontractors.
• Plan programs using the CMMS and keep data accurate.
• Manage subcontractors, WHS documentation, and payments.
• Support contract financials including invoices and budgets.
• Develop scopes of works and contract documentation per BGIS processes.
• Prepare and obtain approvals for variations and additional works.
• Build relationships with client representatives and run meetings.
• Prepare monthly and ad hoc reports.
• Ensure WHS inductions, risk assessments and safe work practices.
